Hi
I am Tom Vanstone (Bow) eldest son of Peter John Vanstone from withleigh. His Father Wilfred Charles Vanstone was born in Monkokehampton in the early years of the 20th century. He was living at the forge there, which was still populated by vanstones until recently. He moved to witheridge in the late '30s I think. Anyone able to link this info to the various family trees?

There is a Wilfred Vanstone born 1899 to a Peter Vanstone (born 1871) and Allice Tancock. Given your father's name was Peter and it is customary to name your children after your parents and grand parents that might be him. They are listed in Tree 1 on this site descended through Benjamen's son Tristam. It doesn't list Monkokehampton as the birth place but I have seen others descended from Tristam living in Monkokehampton. My family moved to America from there.
